The Leadership Institute at Rutgers University – Camden is celebrating a fantastic year of accomplishment. Over the course of the 2015-2016 academic year, 70% of Leadership Scholars had earned a 3.0 GPA or higher by the end of the Spring 2016 semester. In each semester, 44% of Leadership Scholars made the Dean’s List, and in the Spring 2016 semester, 6 students earned a 4.0 GPA.

In addition to superb academic performance, the Leadership Institute was proud to celebrate the accomplishments of several students who earned internships and represented the Leadership Institute at conferences. Joseph Warburton, for example, was accepted into The Washington Center’s internship program, in which he will study and work in Washington, D.C. during the Fall 2016 semester.

The past year also marked the inaugural year for the Leadership Institute’s Student Advisory Council. Some of our most active students accepted their invitation to join the council, and will prove to be crucial representatives of the student voice for years to come. Congratulations to the Council!
